Hug me brother! Drake and Josh reboot

Many students remember growing up watching Drake and Josh on Nickelodeon. The brothers always knew how to make their viewers laugh at their crazy adventures. Everyone who watched the show as a kid remembered their adventure of them getting locked in the treehouse, entering the salsa contest and being tricked by Megan, and their arguments over sharing the room. Now, there have been rumors of them making a comeback and these rumors have recently been confirmed. According to “PEOPLE”, which first reported the news, Bell and Peck are “in talks with several networks” about the project, which a source said will “be more adult and really funny.”
“The show is going to be way more creative, way cooler than just, you know, the college years or something like that,” Bell continued. “We knew that if we were ever going to come back, it’s got to be something cool. I’m excited to see what the fans think.”
Drake & Josh followed Bell and Peck as stepbrothers with clashing personalities as they tried to navigate their new life together, with many comedic misadventures along the way. The show aired on Nickelodeon from 2004 to 2007 and proved popular among viewers, making stars out of its leads and Miranda Cosgrove, who played the pair’s mischievous younger sister, Megan. Their show lasted through 4 seasons and event featured 2 movies. The duo had a brief falling out when Bell was not invited to Peck’s wedding in 2017 but quickly made up afterward at the 2017 VMAs, where they were seen giving each other a hug. We can only hope that it was followed with “hug me brother” from either Drake or Josh.
Bell said he was eager to work with his costar again. Bell and Peck began working together at the age of 12 when they appeared on Amanda Bynes’ Nickelodeon sketch program The Amanda Show. Ten years after Drake and Josh’s finale. The show can also be rewatched on Hulu to relive the funny brother’s adventures over and over. A new season is something to look forward to.
